Buffer Technologies Introduces New Single Point Sling

It's well known that the war in the Middle East isn't traditional warfare. The climate, terrain and combat conditions have required modifications to everything from multimillion dollar equipment to simple weapons accessories. For their part, Buffer Technologies continues to see strong demand for products that address the close-quarter battle demands of the war in the Middle East - products like the Single-Point Tactical Sling. Buffer's Single-Point Tactical Sling is made by Eagle Industries with their durable 1-1/4 inch flat webbing for less friction and easy sliding around the body. The sling, available in khaki and black, is completely ambidextrous and attaches to the weapon through a rear lock plate or an attachment system like the Tango Down sling mount. Another feature of the sling is a Fastex buckle that allows users to ditch the weapon in emergencies with a quick tug on the release cord. For those who favor the maneuverability of a bungee, Buffer Technologies offers ZM Weapons' Single Point Sling. The sling has the same benefits of single-point attachment with a bungee bonus that allows the user to set enough tension for complete one-handed control. Available only in black, the ZM Weapons sling also has a quick-release ring and retails for $52. With proven performance under battle conditions, single-point slings also have become popular with special law enforcement units and some civilian shooting enthusiasts as well as the military. Revolutionary Gun Storage Bags from Z-Corr Products

Z-Corr Products is pleased to announce the launch of their patent pending Z-Corr (Zero Corrosion) Firearm Storage & Preservation (FSP) Bags into the sporting goods retail market. In early 2003, The U.S. Marine Corps solicited the development of a new flexible packaging system to provide superior protection from corrosion for stored firearms. In response, Z-Corr designed and fabricated a high tech anti-corrosion bag. Testing was conducted by the military's USAMC LOGSA Packaging, Storage and Containerization Center, in Tobyhanna, PA. The test center stated, "Bag very durable & easy to use...no detectable rust/corrosion on any rifle...no condensation/dampness inside any bag." Test samples were subjected to temperature shock (-40 to 95F), high humidity cycles (86 to 140 F, 95% RH) and much more. Z-Corr's military M16 Rifle Storage and Preservation Bag (NSN 8465-01-540-1753) won the Flexible Packaging Association 2004 Gold Award for technical innovation, and is currently utilized by the military for long-term storage of the M16 weapon. The company's commercial version; the patent pending Z-Corr Firearm Storage & Preservation Bag has been designed specifically to fit into an untapped niche in the sporting goods retail market using the same technology as the military bag. The Z-Corr bag is manufactured from an environmentally safe, 100% moisture proof; BluGuard-VCI Anti-Corrosion barrier lamination. This proprietary flexible packaging material features molecules that attach themselves to all metal surfaces, including recessed and internal areas such as the firing pin. When a firearm is stored in a Z-Corr FSP bag there is no need for silicones, gels, lubricants, or periodic/before-use cleaning. Z-Corr Bags are self replenishing, even if repeatedly opened. All bags include a non-abrasive interior lining to prevent scratches, and they fit inside gun safes and hard or soft gun cases. The Z-Corr bags come in three stock sizes; 15, 47, and 55 inches long to accommodate all types of firearms. Gun collectors, hunters, marksmen and law enforcement personnel now have an inexpensive, long-term solution for protecting their firearms. All Z-Corr Firearm Storage and Preservation Bags are made in the U.S.A and are unconditionally guaranteed. For more information, or to place an order, please contact Z-Corr Products, Dept. SAR, 1761 Shady Bend Lane, Skaneateles, NY 13152. Phone: (315) 685-5032. Fax: (315) 685-1023. They can be found on the web at www.zcorrproducts.com.
