ShieldShot Introduces Tactical Mirror Sight/BUIS

The Tactical Mirror Sight/BUIS allows tactical operators and soldiers the ability to aim and shoot accurately around corners while still maintaining their cover position. The TMS mounts on the rail of an assault rifle behind your red dot sight and flips up or down in an instant between its in-use position and its stowed position. It stays completely out of your way when it is flipped down against the rail. The TMS maintains all of the accuracy of the weapon’s red dot sight, allowing you to take a perfectly aimed shot from behind cover (because when you are behind cover, you can take more time to aim carefully than you could with your head exposed to gunfire). Designed so that even your hands stay behind cover while you aim and shoot, the TMS allows you to shoot around corners, under vehicles, even over walls you can reach over but can’t see over. For building clearing operations or shooting over high walls, the TMS comes with a larger mirror that snaps on over the smaller mirror. In case of failure of your red dot sight, the TMS has a built in back-up iron sight (BUIS) which locks in position and is fully adjustable for windage and elevation. Constructed of black anodized aluminum, steel, and stainless steel, the TMS is more than rugged enough to withstand the rigors of tactical work and combat. The durability testing video on the website demonstrates its extreme robustness. The TMS is a low-cost, low-tech alternative to the expensive and fragile video sighting systems which are currently being developed and marketed for shooting around corners. The price is $395 for both the large and small mirror together (and it includes its own mounting system). For more information, please contact them at ShieldShot Limited, Dept. Molecular Metal Conditioners Offers Premium Grade Lubricants

Molecular Metal Conditioners (MMC) manufactures premium grade lubricants, cleaners and protectants produced primarily for the custom firearms industry. Their products were created with a tremendous amount of input from some of the finest master gunsmiths in the world. MMC products are currently in use by many of the top name gun manufacturers in the business. What sets their Synthetic Blended Metal Conditioner apart from other products is that it contains the perfect blend of cleaners, protectants and lubricants in one easy-to-use formula. Their metal conditioner actually bonds with the metal on a molecular level by filling in the micro-pores within the metal surface. This bond not only provides the ultimate in protection, but assures that the metal to metal contact actually improves with repeated use of this product. By filling even the tiniest pores in the metal surface, you get a much smoother surface and the smoother the surface the better any machine performs. MMC’s Complete Gun and Action Cleaner is an environmentally safe, high pressure cleaner that contains no cancer causing chlorinated solvents. It safely removes grease, oil, powder residue and carbon buildup immediately on contact. Combine these features with the fact that this cleaner flashes off rapidly, has a light odor and leaves no oily residue and you have the very best firearms cleaner on the market. The Gun Protector and Conditioning Spray incorporates the metal conditioning technology of their Synthetic Blended Metal Conditioner in a convenient spray form, which protectively shields your investment for years to come. Designed to protect in high heat applications, this product also performs as an excellent anti-oxidant, guarding against rust and corrosion on all metal surfaces. LaserMax Introduces New Rail Mounted Laser

LaserMax, Inc. is pleased to announce the introduction of a new rail mounted laser sight - the Uni-Max. Smaller than a match box and as lightweight as a single .45 ACP round, this advanced targeting system features a patent pending integral rail that allows the user to add other rail mounted accessories, such as a tactical light or infra-red laser. This special feature is unique to the Uni-Max system, which will retail for only $189. LaserMax’s rail mounted laser sight quickly and securely attaches to any Picatinny or Weaver style rail, allowing for multi-use between pistol and long gun platforms. It is truly evolutionary because it incorporates its own integral Picatinny rail mount, allowing for additional accessories to be stacked onto the unit. Mounting multiple LaserMax systems will enable both visible and infrared targeting while still maintaining a smaller footprint than competing laser sighting systems. Adding a rail-mounted tactical light is just as easy, demonstrating the real versatility of the system. The new LaserMax sight will address the ever-present need for fast and accurate shot placement in low-light, when seconds count. Constructed from durable FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon), the new laser system features a rapid and secure mounting mechanism that is consistent with firearms safety guidelines. The user can safely install the system without ever passing their hands in front of the muzzle. No special tools are required. The system is adaptable for two methods of activation which address various operating conditions. The first method is an ambidextrous switch that can safely and easily turn the unit on by pressing in with the index finger. The second method of activation (recommended for long gun use) is an optional remote switch for momentary on/off. The Uni-Max uses two 357 silver oxide batteries, which are readily available, and has a 3.5-hour run time. The first Uni-Max units to hit the market will emit the 635nm (red/orange) laser that is characteristic of LaserMax’s guide rod laser sights. Later, infrared and green laser versions will be offered to complete the line up and meet the needs of LaserMax’s military and law enforcement customers. All three Uni-Max systems can be easily set for the user’s choice of continuous wave (constant on) or a high-visibility modulated (pulsing) beam (50% duty cycle). Small enough for discreet use on compact pistols, the Uni-Max is also rugged enough to be used interchangeably on any Picatinny rail platform, including those on rifles, shotguns, submachine guns and machine guns. The low profile housing puts the laser as close to the barrel as possible for maximum accuracy. The system is easily user-alignable for windage and elevation and will maintain its zero through repeated rapid fire and every battery change. Storage for the alignment tool is conveniently built into the inside of the battery compartment. For more information, please contact LaserMax, Dept. SAR, 3495 Winton Place, Bldg. B, Rochester, NY 14623. Phone: (585) 272-5420. Fax: (585) 272-5427. Their website is www.lasermax.com.
